Seals are in trouble

Why Are Seals In Danger?

They are in danger because the ice is melting. The ice is melting because the air is getting warmer. The air is getting warmer because people are driving cars and building factories. This activity puts a lot of carbon dioxide into the air. This makes the air warmer. I don't know how this happens, though.  Seals need the ice. It's where they rest before hunting.

How can you help?

If you can, walk instead of driving a car. Ride you bike or scooter.

Instead of buying new toys, play with the ones you already have or buy used toys. This means the toy factories won't have to use more energy to make extra toys.

Don't watch too much TV or play too much computers. Turn off the TV and computer when you aren't using them.

Turn off the lights.

Turn down the heat in the winter and turn it up in the summer.

Don't waste food. When you waste food, you waste energy.

What ideas do you have to save the seals?
